1. How did you choose DMMC Institute of Health Sciences?

In choosing your career you have to consider a lot of things. For me I consider two things: First, Curriculum and second, kung saan sila magaling. Yes, DMMCIHS is known in providing medical practitioners that are locally relevant and Globally recognized.

2. As An Alumnus, what is the greatest contribution of DMMCIHS that was imparted to your holistic development?

As an alumnus of DMMCIHS, I am grateful that they did not just helped me to pursue my career as a physical therapist but they also imparted me a lot of important values. These core values are: Excellence, integrity, commitment, collaboration and compassion. Nakatulong lahat ng values na iyon para maging Mabuti at mas efficient ako na physical therapist ngayon.

3. What do you love most about your job?

As a physical therapist and personal trainor, I’ve got to see patients and clients undergoes rehab and recovery. In this process I got to witness perseverance and will power na hindi natin nakikita sa pang araw araw nating buhay. There is a personal reward and joy in knowing that I have a role in seeing these patients or clients quality of life and function being restored and that’s what I love about my job.

4. After achieving success in your chosen career, what piece o advice can you give to those aspiring students of the institution?

As of the moment I did not consider myself as successful sa ngayon. Naniniwala ako na experience is the best teacher. I’ve been a lot through experiences sa trabaho ko at sa personal kong buhay. Pero natutunan ko doon is you have to have a proper mindset. I have 4 key points na kailangan niyong tandan: First, you have to set your goals. Second, you have to prioritize it. Third, you have to accept challenges and lastly, balance time. You have to manage your time. Kailangan balance yung pag aaral at kailangan din natin ng time for relaxation o yung pagpapahinga. During this time of pandemic mahalaga yung kalusugan niyo aside from anything else.
