The College of Nursing of DMMC Institute of Health Sciences lives up to its vision of producing qualified and competent nursing graduates by exposing them in the different intensive clinical practices beginning the First Year Level. The exposure includes the different training hospitals specializing in general wards, specialty wards, emergency departments, intensive care units, pediatrics unit, labor and delivery (DR), and operating room.   

The College of Nursing of DMMC Institute of Health Sciences has a state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Laboratory, where basics and competencies are learned prior to exposure to the clinical setting. This includes a simulation mini hospital complete with all the equipments and preparations the students need. Students are monitored accordingly by our competent and qualified clinical instructors and faculties to enable them to acquire the basics and advance nursing skills and achieve the learning objectives based on the CMO 15, s.2017 set forth by the Commission on Higher Education. These Clinical Instructors and Faculties have completed relevant master’s degree with specialization in the different fields/specialties of nursing from various health care settings. The experiences they provide came from years of extensive experience in the profession, which paves way for the future nursing professionals to learn on.

The College of Midwifery of DMMC Institute of Health Sciences, envisions our graduates to be qualified and competent professional midwives who are life-long learners, locally relevant and globally recognized, which can execute the competencies in maternal and child health. They are also equipped with knowledge and skills in primary health care who exhibits the core values of excellence, integrity, collaboration, commitment, and compassion.
